Summer is officially here and it’s time to start dining outdoors.
To help kickstart your summer planning, we partnered with five Canadian lifestyle bloggers to curate stylish and modern looks this summer that will leave your guests wowed.
Read on for gorgeous photos from our five talented partners, including Thalita from @TheLearnerObserver, Andrea from @HarlowAndThistle, Gemma from @TheSweetestDigs, Lindi from @Love_Create_Celebrate and Colleen from the Lemon Thistle blog and @colleenpastoor on Instagram. Take the poll at the end to let us know which style you’ll loving most.
Boho magic by Lemon Thistle
Colleen transformed her backyard into a beautiful boho garden with the help of our Outdoor 2018 collection. This whimsical spread of blue, greys and black will add the perfect amount of magic into your outdoor space.
Read more from Lemon Thistle about how she put together this gorgeous look, including setting up the macrame chandelier and choosing the right lanterns for her spread. (She also really likes our crushed bamboo paddle, which is definitely a favourite with many of us!)
Elevated lobster dinner by Harlow and Thistle
Andrea created the perfect setup to entertain guests with a lobster dinner with a welcoming, laid-back vibe that still feels fresh and modern. Her dockside spread includes our ripple outdoor plates and these adorable paddle tea towels for some added colour (not to mention, giving a much more sophisticated way to keep clean during a lobster feast!)
Read more about how she designed her tablescape in this Harlow and Thistle blog post. We especially love her DIY lighting fixtures that combined lamp shade frames and our Panama patio lanterns for a really unique twist that helped pull the whole look together.
Coastal by The Sweetest Digs
Amanda coasted away to her patio with the help of the KSP Baltic outdoor dinnerware line. This spread includes a vibrant blue and white pattern, perfect to make your backyard seem like a mini getaway. Clean, fresh and perfectly prepped for those amazing summer day parties that somehow stretch into the evening seamlessly.
Read more from The Sweetest Digs, including why having things that seem simple like a classic glass pitcher or investing in a DIY privacy screen will make all the difference in your summer gatherings. (Not to mention, being unquestionably #instaworthy 😍)
Easy, relaxed lunch by The Learner Observer
Thalita put together a gorgeous look for a relaxed summer party that immediately makes a welcoming impression. From the simple spread that pulls together a lovely neutral palette of soft pink, green and ivory to a self-serve dessert and beverage station, this is a party that everyone would want to be at this summer.
Your guests will be impressed, and with Thalita’s help, it’s easy for you to pull off, too. Read more in this post from The Learner Observer blog about how she designed this set-up to make it easier than ever for you and your guests to enjoy dining outdoors.
Textured tablescape by Love Create Celebrate
Lindi did a masterful job blending different patterns and textures to design this modern and inviting table. This style mixes bold monochromatic prints and a blue floral design to create a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. Read more from Lindi on the Love Create Celebrate blog about how to layer patterns and textures for the perfect al fresco dinner.
