There’s something special about slow weekend mornings. The kind where the sun streams in just right, slippers stay on a little longer, and the day doesn’t feel rushed by schedules and to-do lists. These mornings are for family—the laughter around the kitchen counter, kids sneaking tastes, and the joy of sharing a meal that feels both comforting and unhurried.
We’ve partnered with the talented Christine Kozov to bring you an Apple Cinnamon French Toast Bake recipe that brings all the comfort of French toast without the hassle. Thick slices of challah soak up a spiced custard, layered with sweet apple slices, then baked until golden and fluffy.

It’s the kind of dish that fills the whole house with cinnamon and nutmeg, making the kitchen smell like a cozy bakery. Serve it warm with a dusting of icing sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup and watch as everyone goes back for seconds.
