With spring around the corner (can I say that yet?), I’m getting the itch to clean out every nook and cranny in my home. I’ve been staring at the disaster of my kitchen cabinets for months now, and realized that it’s time to freshen things up.
The truth is, I didn’t want to spend an entire weekend organizing my kitchen. I wanted to get things organized over one afternoon. Who in the world wants to waste an entire two days organizing? Not me. So, if you’re looking for some quick and easy ways to transform your kitchen cupboards and drawers so that you can actually find what you’re looking for, keep reading!
Kitchen cabinets – maximize your space
We purchased these 2-tier corner shelves to create more space in our kitchen cabinets, and they have saved us SO much room! If you’re struggling to fit everything into your cupboards, I highly recommend picking up some of these. They are sturdy and durable, while allowing you so much extra room for plates and bowls.
I also love this step stool for reaching everything easily. Plus, it folds up so you can tuck it away neatly when not in use.
Kitchen drawers – be able to find everything you need
The other day, my dad came over and asked me where our wine stoppers were located in the kitchen. I laughed out loud, because truthfully I wasn’t quite sure. Over the past year, we’ve discovered that our wine stoppers have multiple ‘homes’ and the complete disorganization was becoming quite hilarious (in the worst way possible).
If you’re like me and you have a thousand small kitchen accessories that need organizing, I highly recommend you purchase this gadget tray. It is the PERFECT drawer organizer for all of the small accessories such as measuring cups, measuring spoons, condiment servers, corkscrews, and more.
I also love this gadget tray because it expands and contracts based on your preferred size. This is especially helpful if you have a small drawer size and your space is tight.
Spice drawer – keep them nearby and easy to find
We love cooking, and therefore we have TONS of spices that desperately needed to be organized. This organized spice drawer directly beside our stove is perfect for easy access while we are cooking. We started with these chalkboard glass spice jars and used a white paint marker to label each one. Finally, we tucked our spices into these mesh utensil trays to keep things organized and clean. I love how this drawer turned out!
When it comes to organizing, sometimes all it takes is making some simple changes to transform how your space functions. If your kitchen needs some TLC, I highly recommend spending a few hours to give it a makeover. It’ll feel so good once you’re done!
