When decorating for Christmas, I like to stick to a theme and keep things cohesive. I love the simple, timeless yet festive decor that I could reuse year after year. I was extremely excited with all the things I found at Kitchen Stuff Plus this year, it was exactly what I was looking for.
The first find were these beautiful chrome reindeer’s that I could use all throughout the home – they went on my shelves and on the coffee table this year.
Because it’s a solid finish this would also be a great piece to spray paint if I do decide to change my Christmas theme in the future.
I then found these gorgeous white lanterns and ornament sets I was able to do a quick little DIY with. I unscrewed the bottom, removed the wreath inside the lantern and I filled the lantern up with these gorgeous gold and white ornaments.
What a cute and simple transformation. It’s the perfect accent piece. With the left over ornaments I glued them together to make a wreath.
You can find wreath rings at your local dollar store or bend an old wire hanger to its shape.
To set the mood during the holiday season, I also try to find things with lights or make sure I have a lot of candles at home. Kitchen Stuff Plus supplies the best selection for candles and during the holiday season they have scented ones so I picked up the peppermint frost which smells just like candy canes.
The three mini village set was an absolute steal. I feel like I need to get more because they are such a perfect size, great quality and will be bringing them out every year as I collect more. To display them, I used a cake plate to display the village.
I’m so happy with the way everything turned out and spirits need to be lifted so much more this year for us.
