Easy To Make Summer Mocktails

Summer is the perfect time to gather friends and family for outdoor entertaining. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue, pool party, or casual get-together, the right products and refreshing mocktails can elevate your summer entertaining game. In this blog, I’ll be suggesting some must-have finds from Kitchen Stuff Plus and sharing two delicious mocktail recipes will impress your guests and keep them cool throughout the summer.

For outdoor entertaining, you’ll want to make sure you have the best acrylic drinkware on hand. I love the The Gatsby Collection from Kitchen Stuff Plus. The timeless ribbed design mimics the look of real glasses and they’ll add a touch of sophistication to any gathering. The design is available in wine glasses, 14oz. double old fashion (DOF) glasses, 19oz. tumblers, and even a matching pitcher.

Another summer entertaining essential is a sturdy serving tray with handles. They’re perfect for transporting all your drinks outdoors. I like using a melamine material because again, they’re practical, easy to clean and ensures long-lasting use. The cheerful design on the Viva Oval Serving Tray will be sure to brighten up your entertaining space.

Now, let’s dive into two refreshing mocktail recipes that will keep your guests cool and satisfied.

What’s summer without watermelon, am I right? The sweetness of a watermelon combined with slightly savoury basil creates a fantastic pairing for a refreshing summer drink.

TIP:  Save time when cutting your watermelon by using a Tropic Watermelon Cuber.  This neat gadget allows you to create uniform watermelon cubes quickly and effortlessly. It’s perfect for garnishing drinks and creating refreshing fruit salads too.

  • 2 cups cubed watermelon
  • 2 basil leaves
  • Juice of a lime
  • Sugar syrup (optional)
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Muddle the cubed watermelon and basil leaves in a glass.
  • Add lime juice and sugar syrup (if desired) for a touch of sweetness.
  • Pour the mixture into a shaker and shake well.
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Top it off with sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.
  • Garnish with a watermelon slice or basil leaf for an extra flair.

This mocktail is tropical twist on a classic mojito. It blends the refreshing flavours of mint, zesty lime and the delicious sweetness of a pineapple. It’s guaranteed to take your taste buds on a tropical journey!

TIP: If you’re a pineapple lover, the Joie Blossom Pineapple Corer and Slicer is a must-have!  You can easily core a whole pineapple in no time, making perfectly cut rings.

  • 1 pineapple, cored
  • 6 mint leaves
  • Juice of 6 limes
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Combine the cored pineapple, mint leaves, and lime juice in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and well combined.
  • Fill your glasses halfway with the pineapple mixture and add ice.
  • Top it off with sparkling water
  • Garnish with a mint leaf, a pineapple wedge, or pineapple leaf.

Cheers to a summer filled with refreshing drinks and delightful moments!
