How To Set Up A Scandinavian Holiday Christmas Table

I love to set an extra special table at Christmas.

My dining room has a rustic Scandinavian feel to it. The scandi style is so great at bringing the outdoors in and really celebrating what’s in season – this time of year lots of pine and greens, and beautiful, bare birch branches.

Festive lights

When I saw these pretty birch trees at KSP I knew they were the perfect jumping off point for my holiday table this year. I’ve lined them up down the centre of the table. I really love that they’re on timers so you can set them to come on each night. They stay on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours and automatically come back on the next night at the same time. Such a great feature so you don’t have to run around your house as soon as it gets dark each night turning all your little lights on. The LED string lights have the same feature and I love them too.

Interspersed with the birch trees, I’ve used KSP’s beautiful luxury candles. They’re so perfect for the holidays in the gold and silver, and I love their little cloches.

A memorable gift

I used my everyday white plates on a wood slice charger but dressed them up with the beautiful Christmas Metallic ‘ Festive Tree’ Napkins. On top of each plate are the sweetest woodland cloche ornaments, Each one is a little different (there are 10 different designs to choose from) and they’re all so cute.

I’ve added one for each guest and they’ll make the perfect take home gift as well. I love giving a little gift like this to each guest. Hopefully when they add it to their own Christmas ornament collection, they will remember our special Christmas dinner ext year.

Winterland glassware

I also really love the beautiful Christmas Winterland glasses. When I was a little girl my parents had some really similar ones. These are decorated with bare trees and reindeer so they fit our woodland Christmas table perfectly and I’ll use these all winter long.

The table is already for Christmas dinner and I couldn’t be more happy with how pretty and easily it came together. Wishing you and yours a beautiful holiday and lots of special family meals together as you celebrate the season.
