Celebrate Valentine’s Day this year with a make-ahead brunch table that will fill your heart and home with love! This sweet and savoury continental style spread is an easy way to make a family meal feel special. A continental brunch means most foods can be served room temperature or cold, reducing the worry of having to keep things warmed! Setting this up was a breeze thanks to Kitchen Stuff Plus. They had everything that was needed to create a memorable Valentine’s brunch at home!
VALENTINE’S DAY SPREAD
MINI YOGURT BAR
A mini yogurt bar is a simple way to create a fun brunch experience while giving individuals an option when choosing their toppings! These drinking glasses are the best containers for these mini parfaits. They have a classic design making them versatile. I used this simple glass canister for the granola.
Include vanilla Greek yogurt, granola, mixed fruit of your choice, and honey. I added a fun touch to the yogurt parfaits by cutting out heart shaped strawberries for garnish using this adorable cutter set.
SCONES & MUFFINS
Lemon poppyseed scones and baker style muffins were easy to spot on this elevated cake plate. Its simplicity adds a timeless touch to any table, whether it’s a birthday or a Valentine’s weekend brunch.
SMOKED SALMON PLATTER
This beautiful oval shaped platter with raised edges added visual variety to the table and was used to feature a smoked salmon spread to go with the bagels and croissants. Include smoked salmon, cucumbers, olives, hardboiled eggs, avocado, heirloom tomatoes and pickled onions.
BAGELS & CROISSANTS
The bagels and croissants were served in this rattan bread basket. The basket is beautifully made and holds a deceiving amount of baked goods!
CONDIMENTS
This ceramic dip stand was a great vessel to hold a variety of cream cheeses and jam. The dishes are deep set so you won’t need to worry about refilling them throughout brunch!
Beverage Station
There is nothing like the smell of freshly brewed coffee to start the day. This French press in rose gold has a heat resistant handle making it easy to pour while keeping your coffee hot.
Valentine’s day isn’t complete without a cup of coffee in the cutest heart-shaped coffee mugs. I adore the shape of these mugs and the double wall glass which keeps hands safe from the heat.
This beverage dispenser allows individuals to pour as much water as they want during brunch. Fruit infused water looks stunning, tastes great and takes little to no time to set up.
I used the same drinking glasses as the yogurt parfaits for the freshly squeezed orange juice and a larger, amber coloured drinking glass for the fruit infused water.
Fabulous doesn’t have to be stressful!
Having a tablecloth (I love this one because it’s machine washable and stain resistant!) and fresh flowers adds the final touches to making this table that much more special. So, enjoy a leisurely and delicious brunch with your family and friends this Valentine’s day and remember that fabulous doesn’t have to be stressful! Happy Valentine’s Day!
