Toronto’s annual Taste of the Danforth is taking place this weekend, August 10-12! Join KSP as we join in the festivities at our Greektown location at 583 Danforth Avenue.
When & where to find our store on the Danforth
The Taste of the Danforth is for three days only and this year is the TOTD 25th anniversary! The festival will take place all throughout Greektown, and you can find directions for our store below.

What’s going on this year at the Taste of the Danforth?
1. Food, food, and more food!
One of the best parts about the event that combines indoor and outdoor celebrations is all the delicious Greek food! This year there will be over 150 great eats from both street vendors and restaurants along the Danforth.
2. “It’s All Greek To Me”
Opa! Breaking plates after a meal is an ancient (although now banned in Greece) Greek tradition. Experience the tradition for yourself with the “It’s All Greek To Me” event, in partnership with the BattleSports’ Rage Room.
3. Celebrating Canada’s multiculturalism
Did you know the GTA is home to more than 200,000 residents of Greek ancestry? As the third largest Hellenic community outside of Greece, this festival gives everyone the opportunity to experience being ‘Greek for the Day’. The event is more than just celebrating Greek heritage; it’s also a celebration of Canada’s multiculturalism. This year’s festival features performances by Cuban Bands, Aboriginal signers, Bollywood dancers, and many more!
4. Toronto Together fundraiser
Although not directly part of the Taste of the Danforth, Toronto-based musicians will be hosting a benefit concert to support the victims from the recent Greektown tragedy. Join Billy Talent, City and Colour, Pup, and more artists as they play the Toronto Together fundraiser a the Danforth Music Hall on August 11.
