It’s no secret that I love putting together a pretty tablescape.
For our family barbecue last week, I put together a fun and welcoming table with the help of KSP’s Villa outdoor dinner collection. As soon as I saw it, I fell in love with the earthy tones and the beautiful print.
It was definitely a bonus that these dishes are break- and scratch-resistant, which is exactly what you need when you’ve got little kids around. The melamine plates even stand up to steak knives, which is what summer dining is all about.

I started this look with a simple table runner and added the serving platters, and dinner plates. I also brought some greenery to the table with two little plants, which gave a really nice pop of colour against the dinnerware.
Small touches make for a welcoming atmosphere

These two Old-tyme Chalkboard Beverage Dispensers are a cute and practical way to serve drinks! No need to lift and pour from a jug again and again on a table that’s already full. The pieces were so attractive that they were definitely talked about. I filled them with fruit punch and lemonade and they were the stars of the table!

Lastly, I set up a little water station on my patio set as well, using this adorable Crisa Acapulco Glass Pitcher. I just love the shape of it and how much water it can hold. It is sure to add that cuteness factor to your summer party!
